Diablo Lake
Diablo Lake is a favorite spot in Northwest Washington for elopements. So popular, that you may not be the only
couple there on your big day. Luckily, this lake is huge and full of little spots for a gorgeous elopement. Make sure to get a photo from the overlook and also down by the water. You cannot go wrong with Diablo Lake
San Juan Islands
The San Juan Islands are pure magic. This cluster of islands are accessible by ferry from Anacortes and they are worth the trip. Each island is unique, so do some research to find the one you like best. The constant ferry service would allow you to marry on one island and then spend your wedding night on another. From mountain tops to quiet beaches, there is something for everyone on these islands.
Deception Pass
The soaring bridge spans Deception Pass joins Skagit County to Whidbey Island. It is a picturesque state park that offers many beautiful locations for an elopement. The cliffs above the pass or the beaches on the water are quite pretty. No matter where you hold your elopement, plan some extra time to walk around for additional photos.
Tulip Fields of Skagit County
If you are planning an April elopement one of the most beautiful and iconic sites in Washington are the Tulip fields of Skagit county. The bright and manicured fields are picture perfect and provide a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding ceremony. If you want to be married in one of these fields contact farms and get permission. Although it is a big tourist attraction, by getting the ok from the farm you can work out logistics and specific locations for your elopement ceremony. The two largest farms in the valley are Tulip Town and Roozengaarde.
